Description

The Sennheiser HD 25 Light is the lighter single-headband version of the HD 25, the closed-back on-ear headphone that has been the reference for location sound recordists and broadcast engineers for decades. The closed design and firm fit give high attenuation of ambient noise, which is what allows a sound recordist to judge what the microphone is actually capturing while standing inside the noise, and the fast, detailed response makes clipping, handling noise and interference immediately audible. It is light enough to wear through a full shooting day, and every part is replaceable, so a rental unit stays in specification. Used for location sound monitoring, boom operation and camera audio checks.
