The Hollyland MARS 400S PRO kit is a wireless video transmission system for small and mid-size productions, with a transmitter and receiver pair rated at up to 400 feet of line-of-sight range and a latency of around 0.06 seconds. It accepts SDI and HDMI on both ends with cross-conversion, and beyond the receiver it streams to as many as two phones or tablets running the HollyView app, which turns any smartphone on set into a director’s monitor without additional hardware. Both units run on Sony NP-F batteries. It is the practical choice for documentary, corporate and commercial work where a full Teradek package is not justified.
