The Cartoni Studio ALU is a two-stage aluminium studio tripod with a 150 mm bowl, built for the heaviest camera configurations. The 150 mm bowl is the professional standard for large fluid heads and full cinema camera packages, and the two-stage design gives a wide height range without sacrificing rigidity at full extension. Cartoni has built camera supports in Italy since 1935, and the mechanical tolerances are the reason a studio tripod holds a locked-off frame through a long take with a heavy build on top. Supplied with a spreader for stability on smooth floors. Used for studio work, interviews, multi-camera productions and any setup carrying a full cinema camera and a long lens.
