Description

The Aputure Lantern 66 cm is a spherical soft modifier for Bowens-mount LED fixtures, producing omnidirectional light with no visible direction and no hard shadow. Rigged overhead it fills an interior evenly and lets actors move through the space without walking out of their light, which is why lanterns became the default for dialogue coverage in confined sets, corridors, cars and restaurant interiors. Removable skirts allow the sphere to be converted into a downward-only source when the ceiling or the background must stay dark. At 66 cm it is the compact size, light enough to hang from a boom arm or a ceiling point in a location interior.
