Description

The Aputure CF7 Fresnel with barndoor is designed for the Storm 400x and comparable Bowens-mount fixtures, adding a focusable Fresnel lens and four adjustable flaps to a high-output COB LED. The Fresnel converts a broad, uncontrolled source into a beam that can be focused from spot to flood, gaining significant intensity at the spot end and producing the crisp shadow edge that characterises hard cinematic lighting. The integrated barndoors then cut the beam off walls, backgrounds and the lens. This combination is what lets an LED fixture do the job a tungsten Fresnel used to do.
