Description

The Nanlite PJ-BM-19 is an optical projection attachment for Bowens-mount LED fixtures, supplied with a 19-degree lens. It converts a standard COB light into a pattern projector: gobos in the slot project window frames, blinds, foliage and abstract textures onto a wall, and the framing shutters cut the beam into a precise shape with a hard edge. Projected patterns are how a flat, featureless background becomes a set with implied depth and an implied off-screen world, which is why this attachment appears on interview, portrait and narrative setups far more often than its size suggests.
