The Profoto B1X 500 AirTTL is the battery-powered monolight that made cordless location flash a professional standard. It delivers 500 Ws of Profoto-quality light with no pack, no cables and no mains supply, running around 325 full-power flashes on a single exchangeable battery. TTL metering gets you to a working exposure in one frame, High-Speed Sync allows sync up to 1/8,000 s so you can shoot wide open against bright sun, and the nine-stop power range adjusts in 1/10-stop increments. A strong LED modelling light shows the shaping before you fire, and it takes the full Profoto light-shaping system.
