The Nanlux FL-45E is a motorised 45 cm Fresnel lens for the Evoke 5000B, with a zoom range from 16 to 50 degrees driven by a motor rather than by hand. Motorisation matters on a large fixture: once an Evoke 5000B is rigged on a high stand or a condor, changing the beam angle by hand means bringing the light down, and a motorised zoom lets the gaffer adjust spot to flood from the ground or by DMX. The 45 cm lens delivers an exceptionally even field and the concentrated throw needed to light exteriors and large interiors at distance.
