The FUJINON GF 80 mm f/1.7 R WR is the fastest lens in the GFX system and the one that most clearly demonstrates what large format can do. At roughly a 63 mm equivalent field of view and f/1.7 on a 43.8 x 32.9 mm sensor, it produces a depth-of-field rendering that no full-frame lens can reproduce: extremely shallow, with a smooth and gradual transition into defocus rather than an abrupt one. Sharpness at the plane of focus is exceptional even wide open. Weather- and dust-resistant construction.
