Description

The Elinchrom Litemotiv Indirect Octa 190 cm is a very large indirect octabox in which the flash head points backwards into the parabolic reflector rather than forward at the diffusion. Bouncing the light internally before it reaches the front face removes any hot spot and produces exceptionally even illumination across a source almost two metres across. At that size, placed close, it wraps a full-length figure or a group with a falloff so gradual that the transition from light to shadow is barely visible. This is the modifier specified for high-end fashion and advertising when the brief calls for large, seamless, apparently sourceless light.
