Description

The Profoto Zoom Spot is an optical projection attachment for Profoto studio heads, giving flash the hard-edged, precisely shaped beam normally associated with theatrical lighting. Internal framing shutters cut the beam into an exact rectangle or wedge, a gobo slot projects patterns onto a background, and an iris sizes the pool. The focusing lens sets the edge from razor sharp to soft. For still photography it is the tool that puts a controlled shaft of light exactly where the art direction requires it, on a product, a background or a subject, with nothing spilling anywhere else.
