The Aputure Spotlight Max kit with the 19-degree lens is an optical projection attachment for high-output Bowens-mount LED fixtures, turning a light into a precise pattern projector. It accepts gobos, framing shutters and an iris, so the beam can be shaped into a hard-edged rectangle of window light, a shaft through foliage, or a controlled pool with a razor edge that stops exactly where the operator wants it. The 19-degree lens gives a narrow beam for longer throws and tighter patterns. Framing shutters in particular solve the commonest lighting problem on set, which is keeping light off a wall it is not supposed to touch.
