The Munters KID 40 is a gas-fired indirect space heater delivering around 40 kW, used to bring a cold location, a warehouse studio or an unheated interior up to a workable temperature before a crew and talent arrive. Indirect combustion means the exhaust is vented outside and only clean warm air enters the shooting space, which matters when the set contains people in light clothing or materials sensitive to fumes. Output and thermostat are adjustable, and the unit runs on a standard gas supply. Supplied with ducting and connections; gas is quoted separately.
