Description

The Profoto Deep Silver umbrella, medium, 105 cm, is the most used size in the Profoto deep umbrella range and a genuine alternative to an octabox for portrait work. Its deep parabolic shape keeps the light directional despite being soft, which means it can be controlled with flags and kept off a background; a shallow umbrella sprays light everywhere and cannot. The silver interior is roughly a stop more efficient than white and gives crisper catchlights. With the optional diffuser fitted across the mouth it becomes a soft source with a defined front face.
