Description

The Profoto Magnum Reflector is the highest-efficiency reflector in the Profoto system, a deep parabolic that concentrates the output of a head into a narrow, hard beam and delivers a substantial gain in intensity over a standard zoom reflector. That efficiency is what makes it the tool for overpowering the sun: it allows a battery flash to compete with bright daylight at distance, which is the central problem of every exterior fashion and advertising shoot on a Mediterranean location. The hard quality also produces the crisp, defined shadows of a classic hard-light portrait. It accepts grids for further control.
