Description

The Fujifilm GFX100 II is the flagship large format camera: 102 megapixels on a 43.8 x 32.9 mm sensor with the X-Processor 5 engine. It shoots at 8 frames per second on the mechanical shutter and up to 8.7 fps electronically in 35mm format mode, with intelligent hybrid autofocus and subject detection for animals, birds, automobiles, motorcycles, airplanes and trains alongside faces and eyes, so large format is no longer limited to static subjects. Five-axis in-body stabilisation is rated at 8.0 stops. Stills are 11648 x 8736 with 14-bit or 16-bit RAW, and standard sensitivity runs ISO 80 to 12800, extendable to ISO 40 and 102400, which is what allows a file to take heavy retouching and grading. Pixel Shift Multi Shot combines exposures for higher resolution and more accurate colour on static subjects. A hot shoe with dedicated TTL and a separate sync terminal connect the camera directly to studio flash, with sync at 1/125 second. Dual slots take one CFexpress Type B and one SD card, and the camera records to external SSD over USB-C. Supplied with two extra batteries and a double charger, and backed by a full Fujinon GF lens range covering 20 to 200 mm, including the 55mm and 80mm f/1.7 primes, shared with the GFX100S II body.
